I am directed to infom you in reply to your letter of January 4th. regarding the HII appointment recently

made to the Matronship of the Civil Hospital, that your application would be forwarded to the Secretary of State, but that His Excelima regrets that he emnet recommend you for the past.

I am to add that you may either make an application for transfer to another Celeny, (in which case you will be provided with the necessary form for use in such circumstances), or, you may be examined by a Medical Board for the purpose of determining whether you are physically fit for further service in this Colony. His Excellency will be glad to learn which course you prefer.
